Cradle to Cradle Certification, Gold Level
Cradle to Cradle Certified is a globally recognized measure of safer and more sustainable products made for a circular economy. In order to receive this certification, products are investigated for their environmental and societal performance in 5 categories: Material Health, Material Reutilization, Renewable Energy, Social Fairness, Water Stewardship.
The 5 categories are closely investigated and assigned an achievement level of Basic, Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum. The lowest achievement for a category becomes the overall certification level.
As of December 2020, Diversey is proud to announce that SURE products have been issued GOLD level certificates by the Cradle-to-Cradle Products Innovation Institute.
New PCR bottles: Better products with better packs
At Diversey, we believe that sustainability is a never-ending pursuit. Our Sure new PCR packaging illustrates that belief. The packaging used up to now was 100% recyclable but made of virgin plastic that needed to be created from fossil fuels every time. With the new PCR packaging, we are implementing 50% post-consumer recycled content within most of our products.
Now, Sure combines 100% biodegradable products with post-consumer recycled plastics. 100% recyclable, for old packs that can be new packs over and over.
